particularly seeing as though I have enormous hands.....
Actually, it looks a bit like a cabbage.....

In between running around getting children ready for school, comforting a small boy who woke up at 4:00am crying because his best friend is leaving at the end of the year, making lunches, eating breakfasts and drinking copious quanities of coffee, I actually picked up my camera this morning and took a photo of something frivolous.
I'd forgotten how much I loved it.

This one is called "Paris Dreaming" and is 12" x 24".
As always layers and layers of ephemera and papers followed by layers and layers and working and reworking paints and glazes to get her looking how I want her to look.

I'm in a tag sort of mood at the moment it seems.

Simple.
But pretty!
I've stamped onto hand-dyed watercolour paper (leave it dry slowly and its the best!) using some Espresso coloured ink, embossed with clear embossing power.
Whack (technical term) on a flower and you're done!
Then you give them to your mother because you don't know what the heck to do with all the "stuff" that is breeding in your art room.

Well...I cut her out and painted her ....
and attached her to a canvas.....and now she's turned into this....
...a 12" x 24" canvas with this message...
Hmmm...too small....
"Don't be frightened," she sad.
Love how things develop don't you?
